f0ment is a Berlin-based composer, producer-engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. Born in 1980s Athens, he settled in Germany in 2007.
His 15-year musical journey spans from house music (as Quell) to industrial, EBM and disco (as Fringe Society and part of Modern Ruin). f0ment’s current work marks a radical shift in approach, inspired by Berlin’s contrasts and exploring themes of community, socio-political commentary and hauntology-adjacent concepts.
His compositions feature non-linear neo-classical minimalism, ambient soundscapes, and electro-acoustic sound collages. f0ment blends various synthesis techniques with prepared instruments, dialog, and field recordings.
Recent releases include the self-released There Is A Mouth Inside Me That Constantly Needs To Feed LP. New works are set for release on his Editions Polyhymnia imprint in 2024.
