Fun fact: we actually bought one of Matthew’s first releases back in the early 90s on Void Records under his then persona Mode-M. Fast forward three decades and we are re-introduced to his latest output, the stunning Beginners Mind under the Future Beat Alliance name.
A prolific musician and producer of emotive, widescreen and spacious tracks across a variety of genres — from Detroit Techno to Electro to Ambient. He has released on labels such as Rush Hour, Versatile, Tresor, R&S and has co-produced James Lavelle’s UNKLE output since 2012.
In 2021 he released Primordial Sky on his own imprint Reward System, which included a remix by Detroit legend Claude Young and in 2023 he switched gear and with his seminal Lower the Anchor album.
