Tadd has explored nearly every discernible facet of electronic music and worked with some of the greats of Hip Hop including J Dilla and Georgia Anne Muldrow.
Tadd started out performing at underground raves and galleries in Detroit in the late 90s where he pioneered a new wave of Jungle as Soundmurderer and SK-1 with his longtime collaborator Todd Osborn. Throughout the early 2000s, he signed to Ghostly Records, established multiple aliases and produced tracks that covered experimental/IDM, hip-hop, synth-wave, techno & house music.
More recently, he created the pseudonym X-Altera, a new musical descendent of SK-1 that further explores his innovative take on Jungle/Drum n Bass sounds. Throughout a long career Tadd has lectured and performed all over the world, remixed Depeche Mode, The Orb, Zero 7 and his music has appeared on Adult Swim and various high profile adverts.
