Production music platforms like ours offer a catalogue of music that is specifically produced and made available for use in film, TV, social media, advertising, games, podcasts and so on. It is ready to be licensed at a fixed price. The licence fee varies depending on the type and scale of usage, territory and nature of the project.

Commercial music is often the most costly and time consuming way of obtaining music for a project. You will pay for its cultural significance as well as a string of involved parties. The artist often only receives a fraction of the licence fee. Production music on the other hand is cheaper and ready to be purchased immediately, as the rights have been cleared in advance. Artists, especially ours, benefit from our simple publisher-artist set up and receive the main share of the fee. (A direct way to support artists’s careers.)

While a commission gets you bespoke music for your project, often there is not enough time or budget to go through multiple rounds of feedback and revisions.
