Samir Alikhanizadeh aka Happa burst onto the scene in 2012 aged just fourteen with a string of excitingly fresh and daringly experimental techno releases on the likes of Church, Boomkat Editions and Bleep.

It wasn’t long before before his raw talent caught the eye and was soon collaborating with artists as diverse as David Byrne, FKA Twigs and Chloe x Halle.

Samir is a master of playful programming and sonic intensity with a curiously diverse range of influences — everything from hardcore electronics, folk, post-rock noise bands and even R&B divas. He’s an avant-garde producer with a cheeky pop sensibility.

These days Happa is busy prepping his new EP Party Chat forthcoming on his own label Part Five Records and his noughties pop-themed mixtape is out now.
