What does it cost to licence a track?
This depends on a multitude of factors, We have devised an intuitive and easy to use licence configurator. Click the buy button for a track of you are interested in and follow the step by step questionnaire. In most cases you will be able to obtain an immediate licence fee. For some large scale projects and for political campaigns no price will be given online — you will need to get in touch to receive a tailor made licence.
Yes. Some discounts are already embedded in the licence configurations and applied in real time. Of course there might be circumstances where the configurator can’t calculate an adequate discount. In such a case, get in touch via email.
You can. The licence fee will cover multiple uses within the time frame of 12 months. The licence for each piece however will of course be in perpetuity.
You don’t. We discount syncs under 30 seconds.
No. Our licences include all available versions and stems for any given track.
Yes. If your production is being broadcast or shown in a cinema you need to submit a cue sheet to the broadcaster in order for our PRO to collect performance royalties. You can download a cue sheet for your purchased licences in your account section. As per our EULA you will also need to provide Alors with a reference copy or link of your production.
My requirement is not listed on your licence configurator. What can I do?

Yes. We offer blanket licensing agreements for 12 months duration, through which you get pre-licensed access to our whole catalogue. Please be in touch with a contact, name of your company or organisation, the type of business and number of employees.
Can I sample from a track I buy from Alors?
You can do basic edits like fade-ins, fade-outs, cuts, loops and so on for the purpose of synchronising it to the media you purchased a licence for. We currently don’t sell licences for using samples of our music in your own music productions.
I would like to give full credits on my project. What should this look like?
That’s very kind, thank you for your support! Please name the artist, track title and Alors as the publisher.
If the project is used for your studies (like assignments, exams, end of year shows) and is shown only within the context of your studies, school or university you will be covered by the Small Usages category in our license configurator, therefore benefiting from favourable pricing.
